Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
‘Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to men’”!
(Luke 2: 1-14).
Merry Christmas from the Emmitt family –
Andy, Beth, Daniel and Baby 2!
This Christmas ends a year that has brought us even closer to God and each other. We have been blessed by support, prayers and even through music. As in 2007, this past year had its bumps in the road – but God has helped us and shown us the detours.
Daniel has grown from a beautiful baby to a handsome little boy. Last month his cardiologist told us that he didn’t see any real changes in his condition in the past 6 months and thought he was doing very well. We go back in April for his next check up.
Just two & a half teeth so far (one is currently poking through), and he has just become brave enough to take those first steps! We’re not pushing him though – he will be our big boy before we know it!
Speaking of big boy – Daniel will be a big brother sometime in May 2009. Baby Emmitt #2 is what we are calling an “unexpected blessing,” and we couldn’t be happier. We don’t plan on finding out the gender of this baby – the surprise is just too much fun! We have an ultrasound scheduled for December 23rd with the high risk doctor I saw with Daniel. We are praying for a 100% healthy baby! This baby has been a beautiful reminder of the verse we have had on this site from day one – God has a plan!
Andy’s company – Air-Tite Insulation – has also been blessed this past year. His hard work and dedication and lots of prayers have lead to steady jobs in this tough economy. Now is the perfect time to add insulation to your attic and save on your energy bills – just give Andy a call! : )
2008 saw me to my sixth year working for Terri Lynn Land. It has gone by so quickly! Two more years with this term, but we should soon see the direction in which God is calling her. I am blessed with an amazing group of co-workers that I am proud to call my friends!
We thank you all so much for your continued support and prayers!
Merry Christmas!
