Winter Thaw

We enjoyed the great thaw we had last week!

Daniel played outside for the first time as the weather started to warm up. Even got to use the sled Aunt Sarah got him for Christmas.

Daniel and Laura watched Daddy plow the snow from the driveway.

Last Sunday and Tuesday we went for walks! Too bad it didn’t last long, but it gave us another reason to be excited for Spring!

My Christmas cactus and orchard decided that now was a good time to go bloomin’ crazy! Don’t think I have a green thumb – these are the only two plants I’ve ever been able to keep alive. The cactus is 5 ½ years old and the orchard is 3 years old!

Andy helped me with a little project for work last weekend… :D
Andy was Larry - on the left below

Daniel is so much fun. He spent the entire day on Saturday with Daddy at the conference wrestling tournament! He was so worn out from the weekend that he took a nap in Daddy’s arms today – it was so precious!

Andy and I went out for a great dinner last night – following a day of pampering, made for a very nice Valentines Day!

Third trimester! I am 28 weeks now and still feeling good – just big!

I turned 29 today and couldn’t be more grateful to God for all He has blessed my life with. It was one of the best birthday weekend’s I’ve ever had.

February Already!

And we are very excited!

Next week I will start my third trimester. The pregnancy has gone very well - love those happy hormones!

I had an Echo done last week on Baby 2's heart and was told it looked great. Baby 2 on the other hand, is BIG - measuring a couple weeks early. Might be because I'm eating too many sweets - I'll be tested for gestational diabetes next week (all pregnant woman have to be tested). Hopefully its just a big baby :)

Daniel seems to get older and more mature every day. He screams Momma and Daddy now. Also "bottle" (any drink) and "cookie!"

He finally had two more teeth break through - one of his snaggle-teeth and the front tooth next to it - looks kind of funny :)

Today he started to CLIMB - yikes! He was climbing up on his plastic "fort" and then falling off it with a THUD! I started to jump up to run to him, thinking he would cry, but he was a tough little boy and tried climbing up it again. I'll try to catch a picture of him in the act soon.

We've moved to a big boy car seat - he is so cute in this picture!

We all had the stomach flu over Christmas and Daniel has had one cold after another, but he takes it like a champ and doesn't let it slow him down.

Thanks for checking in with us :)
