OKAY - Here we go! We got the call tonight to tell us that we should be all set for the scheduled induction tomorrow night at U of M. We are supposed to get there at 7 pm and start the process.
We are going to leave Byron Center sometime after lunch and head to Holly to drop off the dogs at "Doggie Camp" (aka Papa & Nama Emmitt's house) and hang out there until we get the "for sure" call between 4:00 and 6:00 pm telling us to COME ON DOWN!
We are excited and yet very scared.
Thank you for all your continued support and prayers! We have a number of places and ways we are trying to keep everyone updated. We have an email update list, Beth is on Facebook and just started this blog. Once the baby arrives, we will see what works best for us.

We will be in prayer for the new arrival, the Mom & Dad too. So happy to have the blog to keep up on you all. Beth, do recall when I first saw you "blossoming", that Nov 2 would be a wonderful arrival date. But now we'll just take a safe arrival and successful surgeries, that sound like will be needed. You are on our church prayer chain email now too,many prayer warriors. Just Trust our Lord, the Great Physician, and we will too.Joan
I cannot wait to meet your special baby! With such great parents, the kid is seriously going to rock. And Beth, I truly hope you are not in labor for four days. I love you guys, and that little one. My whole family is praying hard, as is my home church-- they announced you guys today! Good luck with the delivery, Bethie Baby. And remember, October 29 (or 30th or hopefully not the 31st or any later!) is "the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it!" Psalm 118:24...xoxo
Thank you for your consideration in keeping us all up to date. I am keeping all three of you in my prayers. Today I am praying for a fast, smooth, and normal delivery and that you can bask in the wonder of this miracle as you bring your son or daughter into this world. Yes the future may be filled with some uncertainty, but now is the time to celebrate this addition to your family.

I am Beth's mother's mother's stepson's wife. That was fun to figure out in my head. We are family through marriage.
My family and I live in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan and wish you, Andy, and baby all the best in the coming days. We are excited about your new arrival and pray so hard each moment for the safety and health of all.
You have been on our prayer list at church for awhile now. There is strength in numbers if we all pray together. And, speaking from family experience, you couldn't be at a better hospital!
